AY PUKI MO

“Ay puki mo” is a phrase used spontaneously in moments of clumsiness, with a mix of humor and light-heartedness, making light of the mishap. Despite its literal translation, its generally used in a non-offensive context or in informal settings among friends. Although the phrase may seem unrelated on the surface, it serves as a reminder of the broader societal challenges surrounding women’s reproductive health in the Philippines. By recognizing and addressing these issues, communities can work towards ensuring that all women have access to comprehensive and dignified healthcare services. Initially conceived as a foldable booklet with a poster on the back, the project evolved into a series of three posters. This expanded format was designed to enhance awareness of the importance of proper feminine products, address health issues such as breast cancer, and promote overall mental healthcare in response to these challenges.
